Strengthbuilding Partners, a non-profit orgnization is now recruiting Mentors to join their Mentoring Program for the 2008 - 2009 school year. The goal of the program is to assist students in bonding with pro-social adults, developing healthy beliefs and standards and increasing their commitment to learning. The emphasis is on a supportive, caring experience, and the development of a trusting relationship over time. The child is given undivided attention, and the focus is on his/her thoughts, feelings and dreams.
